On my very first read of the ‘Give it to Roland’ script I had a good old chuckle,
I knew then it had a lot of potential. Working with a delightful little comedy narrative,
I wanted to set the scene through, a great location, art direction, wardrobe and cast.

With all these in place, my plan was to incorporate interesting camera moves to highlight
the comedy moments. We ended up with too many to pick from in the edit which is
always a good place to be. Though I won’t be rushing to do a Zolly shot on my next shoot,
unless production can supply some Xanax!
